Simply set the steps in the base. then snap and lock them into place. This ladder has a weight capacity of 300 pounds. WARNING: Shallow water: no diving. no jumping. Diving or jumping from ladder may cause permanent injury or death. Remove and secure ladder when pool is not occupied to prevent unauthorized use and possible drowning.
